2019 RMFTN Annual Meeting Re-Cap

The first annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain Family Therapy Network was a successful gathering of dedicated learners on an early Saturday morning last November.  We had 30 people attend.  We discussed the Network’s priorities and Barbara Allen Ford, Co-Chair of Colorado TEAM presented on the local TEAM efforts to advocate for our profession.  We then had a presentation by attorney Jeremy Shufflebarger on “Preventing Liability and Staying Safe in the Practice” of marriage and family therapy.

We are still asking for help with Workgroups, especially an Election Committee and Events, such as the Annual Meeting.

We had a glitch with our electronic attendance certificates, so if you still need a copy please contact us through our web site, RockyMountainFamilyTherapy.network.

The leaders at Rocky Mountain Family Therapy Network are grateful to Regis University for allowing us to convene in their classroom areas.  A big thanks also goes out to Mr. Shufflebarger and to Barbara Ford for doing a great deal of planning in getting the meeting organized.

Our next meeting is already scheduled!  It will be November 7, 2020.  More details to come!
